TOTO: Could you please tell us about your business?
Khun Nichakan: My name is Nichakan Jiwakanon. I’m operating a hotel business called The Lantern Hatyai Hotel. It just recently opened at the end of last year, on Sai 2, in the heart of Hat Yai.
TOTO: Could you please tell us about the Lantern Hatyai Hotel?
Khun Nichakan: The hotel is in Modern Chinese style by the way it was constructed. We leave space both on the left and right sides of the structure. To make the building stand out and be unique. Passersby will know exactly this as The Lantern Hatyai Hotel. Our suite room, which has a 180-degree balcony, is the highlight. You can glance over Hat Yai from there.
TOTO: What are the criteria for choosing sanitary ware for your project?
Khun Nichakan: We care about quality and all materials in the guest room, even the bed and inside the bathroom. Customers mostly have compliments that the bed is cozy and comfortable. For the bathroom, we installed TOTO equipment. There are sanitary wares, lavatories, rain showers. All equipment is TOTO. We are concerned about cleanliness and safety of customers.
TOTO: How did you know TOTO?
Khun Nichakan: When I have the opportunity, I always visit foreign countries with my family and friends. Every time I visited Japan, even in hotels, guest rooms, and airports, they mostly installed TOTO products. It emphasized Japan’s cleanliness and modernity.
TOTO: Could you please share with us your impression about TOTO automatic toilet seat?
Khun Nichakan: Most 5-star and hi-end hotels always install TOTO products. Whenever I think of TOTO brand, the quality comes to mind. TOTO brand is admired by people all across the world. With its AERIAL SHOWER technology, the hand shower effectively aerates the water. The water droplets ensure that they maintain the right amount of force. The result is a shower that has a more luxurious feel yet uses less water. It uses up to 35% less water than a conventional shower (using only 6.5 liters of water per minute, compared to a conventional shower that uses 10 liters of water per minute).
